India and France signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday for the development of the "Yuga Yugeen Bharat" museum in New Delhi, inspired by the Louvre in Paris.
Once completed, the "Yuga Yugeen Bharat" museum is expected to be the largest in the world.
The museum will be developed through adaptive reuse, with France lending its expertise, demonstrated by successful projects like the Louvre, Grand Palais, and Hotel de la Marine.
Yuga Yugeen Bharat museum
Yuge Yugeen Bharat is an under-construction museum in New Delhi, India, which will be the largest museum in the world, with an area of 117,000 square meters and 950 rooms.
It will be housed in the existing Secretariat buildings, both north and South blocks and replace the National Museum of India as national museum.
