A tragic incident occurred in Uliyana village, Rajasthan, where a tiger was found next to the mauled body of a villager, near the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
The village has long had conflicts between humans and tigers, with this attack adding to rising tensions.
The tiger, later identified as T-86 (Chirico), was found dead shortly after a mob attempted to rescue the victim and protested for compensation.

Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan
It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles.
Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple.
Also in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its abundance of water lilies.
