India plans to procure 15 additional C-295 transport aircraft from Airbus, expanding its existing order of 56 aircraft.
Of the 15 new aircraft, 12 will be manufactured in India by Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. (TASL), enhancing local production capabilities.
