The initiative is fully centrally funded, aiming for effective convergence with existing Central and State Government schemes.
It seeks to leverage voluntary funding from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of Central Public Sector Undertakings and the corporate sector.
Pradhan Mantri-Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan (PMJUGA)
Comprehensive initiative aimed at uplifting Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities.
Targets 63,000 ST-majority villages for development.
Has an outlay of ₹79,156 crore, funded by 17 ministries.
Central share of ₹56,333 crore, and a States’ share of ₹22,823 crore
Implements 25 interventions over five years to ensure basic scheme saturation.

Financial support for converting homes into tourist homestays.
Promotion of sustainable agriculture for Forest Rights Act (FRA) holders.
Infrastructure development: building 20 lakh pucca homes, 25,000 km of roads, and water supply.
Ensuring access to electricity to 2.35 lakh households and 25 lakh LPG connections
Enhancing connectivity through broadband in 5,000 tribal villages and set up 100 tribal multipurpose marketing centres
