WCC is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation affiliated with UNESCO. It was established in 1964.
This esteemed designation is given to cities excelling in the promotion and development of traditional crafts and artisanship.
It acknowledges the city’s commitment to preserving its unique craft heritage and supporting local artisans.
