India’s second nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, INS Arighaat, was commissioned into service at Visakhapatnam
It joins the first such submarine, INS Arihant, which was commissioned in 2016.

India’s second indigenously built nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN)
It was constructed at the Indian Navy's Ship Building Centre (SBC) in Visakhapatnam
It feature an 83-MW pressurized light-water reactor with enriched uranium, and has improved indigenous systems
The submarine is equipped with K-15 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles (SLBMs) with a 750 km range
