UPSC Examination Process:
Conducts examinations and interviews for the Union Government.

What is the probation period?

What disciplinary action can be taken?
Discharge from Service:
For failure to clear examinations at the training academy.
If the Central Government deems the probationer ineligible for recruitment or unsuitable for the Service.
For wilful neglect of probationary studies or duties.
For lacking the qualities of mind and character required for the Service.
