The New Mangalore Port is the deepest inner harbour on the west coast
It is operated by New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA).
“New Mangalore Port,” separates it from the old Mangalore Bunder or “Old Bunder” in Mangalore city. The old harbour is located to the south of the New Mangalore port and is currently utilised for fishing and the transportation of small commodities.
