Kosi River
The Kosi River, also known as the Saptakoshi (meaning "seven rivers" in Nepali), is a transboundary river that flows through China, Nepal, and India.
It is the third-largest tributary of the Ganges River by water discharge.

Length: 720 kilometers (450 mi)
Drainage basin: 74,500 square kilometers (28,800 sq mi)
Source: Formed by the confluence of the Sun Kosi, the Arun Kosi, and the Tamur Kosi rivers in Nepal

The Kosi River is known for its dramatic course changes.
Over the past 200 years, the river has shifted its course westward by more than 133 kilometers (83 mi).
