A birdwatching team from Telangana made a significant discovery on Sunday by spotting a spur-winged lapwing near Warangal, Telangana which is believed to be the first sighting of this species in India.
The rare wader bird, scientifically known as Vanellus spinosus, was observed near Bhattupalle village
