Over 3,000 voters in 14 villages along the Maharashtra-Telangana boundary get to vote in both States, thanks to an ongoing dispute.
Amid the desolate hilly terrain between Jivti taluk of Chandrapur district in Maharashtra and Kerameri mandal in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district in Telangana are 14 villages in the Parandoli and Anthapur gram panchayats.
Here, 3,023 residents, of a population of nearly 5,000, have the power of the vote in both Maharashtra and Telangana.
