Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
It is located in the Kannur district, on the western slopes of the Western Ghats mountain range.
The sanctuary covers an area of 55 square kilometers.
It is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, leopards, Indian gaur, sambar deer, spotted deer, and Nilgiri langurs.
Its is also a popular birding destination, with over 250 species of birds recorded in the area.
The notable bird species found here include Malabar grey hornbill, great hornbill, Indian peafowl, and blue-winged parakeet.
The sanctuary is also home to a number of waterfalls, including the Meenmutty Falls, which is one of the highest waterfalls in Kerala.
