Activists of a radical Islamist party attacked a place of worship of the Ahmadi community and demolished its minarets and terrorised them in POK.
The attack is the latest in the series of such incidents , at least 40 between January to October this year ,the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Pakistan.
Over three dozen miscreants believed to be members of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) attacked the Ahmadi place of worship in Doliyan Jatan in Kotli district on Friday.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is an Islamic revival movement founded in 1889 by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in Qadian, India.
Ahmadi Muslims believe that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the Promised Messiah and Mahdi awaited by Muslims.
They also believe that he was a reformer who sought to revive the true teachings of Islam and to unite humanity under one banner of peace and love.
Ahmadi Muslims adhere to the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Articles of Faith, just like other Muslims.

The miscreants destroied the minarets and niche of the worship place left while chanting religious slogans.
This worship place was built in 1954.
